Placement Services

We pair families (placements) by children's ages, philosophies, and overall day structure to support the needs of the whole child.

Host Families

Here at Little Village, we advocate and support our host families! We believe in being dedicated to all families we work with. We feel strongly about requiring boundaries, and guidelines from families to make this experience as smooth as possible. This includes but not limited to: set hours, overtime pay, legal pay (w2), paid holidays, paid vacation days, all within a working contract. We want to make sure that your contracts, pay and benefits are taken care of for you. We will help you get your profile together, create a contract for you, negotiate accordingly, and continue to support you once a family has been placed with you.

  • Social media screenings to assess character, identify potential risks, and verify information
  • State and federal background checks
  • Two to three reference checks before profiles are shared with the family
